Weight Loss and Eating Right

Okay 2 of the hardest things to do, lose weight and eat right!

So what is the secret? Is there one? Everyone tells me there is...I'm really not so sure there is any one way/system or plan to help everyone. It's all about what works for YOU!

Knowledge is power! You've heard that before, and it applies here too. You need to KNOW your body, know what works and what doesn't with respect to food and exercise. Don't expect to do the same thing over and over and expect different results.

Read and learn about the things you've found that work for you. Or simply trial and error with foods and exercise regimens.

I've found out that varying the types of exercise and types of workouts seem to do best for me. Even within the actual workout, varying that helps too. It decreases the muscle memory factor and allows the body to get a better workout when it doesn't get "used" to a particular workout routine.

Foods: Everyone and I mean EVERYONE is different. You need to learn what your body type is, what you can and can't eat with respect to your make-up. I have a friend who has a slow Thyroid, she found out that there is a ton of "Healthy" things she shouldn't be eating or doing as it counter-acted the medication she was on to help her condition. Much of this information was not given to her by the doctors, but something she read and learned about on her own (again knowledge is POWER). We all need to be that proactive in learning about what is right for US.

Don't you hate it when some people can eat anything and still be thin and look great? Well it all has to do with their body chemistry. You need to know yours and what foods work and what don't. Sometimes it's just adjusting the caloric intake (smaller portions). Sometimes just a simple modification.

If you take anything away, take away this....Learn and read about the body and what body you may have and what may work for you!

Here is a web site talking about the TRUTH ABOUT ABS. It tells you about supposedly "healthy" foods you should avoid!! Enjoy and best wishes in your Feeling Good About YOU!!
